The Entry Offset Input is used to change your entries on the exchange by however amount you like. This is a simple way to get slightly better entries than the actual entry. For instance, if you use a $20 offset and the entry price on the strategy was $1000, the bot will attempt to get an entry price of $980 instead of $1000.

Offset value in ticks, percent, or dollar amount to change the entry price for the exchange.

This value will not be reflected on the strategies as Tradingview enforces a close value entry. However, you can offset your entry in ticks by this amount (positive integer only), which will allow the bot to adjust the entry price by this value.

⚠️ WARNING️: ⚠️

Using this feature may result in some trades being missed as the price never returns to this value to place your limit order. This value does NOT affect exit prices such as Stop Loss and Take Profit targets.

For longs, a value greater than 0 of this input will result in an entry price lower than the initial entry price.

For shorts, a value greater than 0 of this input will result in an entry price higher than the initial entry price.

NOTE: This only applies to Order Types of LIMIT. This value will be ignored if the Order Type is set to MARKET.
